Dear OttawaGasPrices.com visitor,

We must first apologize as it's been quite some time since we've sent
you an email. We (Glen and Derek) have always worked on
OttawaGasPrices.com in our spare time and with our ever-changing lives,
that spare time has become quite sparse.

That being said, we're sending out this email to announce some exciting
changes.

OttawaGasPrices.com quietly hit the 10 year mark earlier this year,
having gone live in May 1999. We were one of the first gas price
tracking sites on the Internet and continue to go strong. Over the
last 10 years, we've added more features and upgrades but at the same
time, we've fallen behind in fulfilling requests.

Effective Monday, September 21, 2009, OttawaGasPrices.com will join the
GasBuddy.com family of sites. We feel that this is a great change as
some of the promised changes and more have already been implemented by
GasBuddy.com and they share many of the same philosophies such as
assisting consumers get the best deals at the pump. By joining a
larger network, we gain their promotional power as well which will
hopefully mean more price submitters and greater quality of data.

What does this mean for you?

1. All email addresses will be deleted from this mailing list as of
Friday, September 18, 2009 and the list itself will be deleted
permanently. The email list and your email addresses are not part of
the transition.

2. Registration is required to submit prices to the GasBuddy.com family
of sites. We recommend you drop by and take a look around there, but
registration is not required to submit prices at OttawaGasPrices.com
until Monday, September 21, 2009. The site will continue to be free to
use!

3. Prices on the Ottawa side of the river will continue to be found at
(http://OttawaGasPrices.com/). If you're looking for prices on the
Quebec side, head over to
(http://quebecgasprices.com/Gatineau/index.aspx). For regions outside
the Ottawa area, you can look to (http://ontariogasprices.com/) and
look for the appropriate region.

4. Our involvement with the new OttawaGasPrices.com site will be
minimal and probably mostly revolve around the transitional period.
Questions about the site after Monday, September 21, 2009 should be
directed to GasBuddy.com

5. If you're using our JavaScript feed to add gas prices to your site,
GasBuddy.com is hoping to accommodate you during a transitional period
without interruption. However, they do offer several excellent widgets
which you can add to your site.

We'd like to thank all of you that have supported OttawaGasPrices.com
over the past 10 years and hope that you continue to do so as we make
this exciting transition.

If you'd like to reach us with comments regarding the
OttawaGasPrices.com transition, please drop us a line
